Amanda is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with supervisory designation through the state of Ohio in addition to being licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Florida. Amanda completed her undergraduate degree at University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She then went on to earn her Master of Social Work degree from The Ohio State University in 2016.

Prior to opening Sea Glass Healing, Amanda enjoyed private practice for 5 years. Early in her career she was an outpatient therapist at a group practice in Westerville, Ohio.  She also has experience in medical social work and providing case management services. 

Amanda provides mental health services to children and adults. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Ketamine -Assisted Therapy, Progressive Counting Method, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, advanced training in perinatal mood disorders, and Mindfulness. She enjoys using a combination of evidence based modalities to work with clients to meet their individual goals. 

Already have a therapist? Amanda can offer complementary treatment options such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing  (EMDR) and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) as an adjunct to your current therapy.

In her free time Amanda enjoys hiking, snorkeling, visiting art museums, enjoying live music and exploring the United States.

Amanda is able to accept UHC, Cigna, Aetna, and Florida Blue insurance. Portions of ketamine assisted therapy are covered by insurance.
